Under direct supervision, the Paint Mixer may assist with preparing paints, 

coatings, and related materials according to approved instructions and production needs. This 

may include measuring materials, helping to organize supplies, labeling containers, cleaning 

equipment and work areas and supporting basic recordkeeping. The intern will be expected to 

follow all instructions carefully and complete tasks accurately while learning the reasons behind 

plant standards and controls.

The intern may also assist stores personnel with receiving, checking, storing, and issuing 

materials used in the paint process or general production support. This includes helping with 

stock organization, identifying low inventory levels, participating in stock counts, and maintaining 

a neat and orderly stores area. The intern should understand that all work must be done safely, 

attentively, and within the scope of assigned duties.

Responsibility 

Paint Preparation: Assist with measuring, mixing setup, labeling, and cleanup under supervision

Stores Support: Help receive, store, organize, and issue materials accurately

Housekeeping: Keep workstations and storage areas clean and orderly

Compliance: Follow safety, quality, and environmental instructions at all times

Candidates should have an interest in manufacturing, production support, warehouse 

operations, or industrial processes. A basic educational background suitable for an internship 

role is expected, and candidates who are studying toward a technical, vocational, logistics, or 

production-related qualification may be especially well suited. Previous work experience is not 

always required, but any exposure to a workshop, warehouse, factory, or technical environment 

would be helpful.

The role requires willingness to learn, the ability to follow instructions, and a practical mindset. 

Basic literacy and numeracy are important for understanding labels, quantities, and simple 

records. The intern must also demonstrate a responsible attitude toward safety, attendance, 

teamwork, and care of company materials and equipment.
