• Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits of the manufacturing facility.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify corrective
actions.
• Support the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Help organize and participate in safety training sessions for employees.
• Assist in maintaining safety records and documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the safety committee and management to promote a culture of
safety.
• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety,
Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be BEE Aligned
- Be between the ages of 18–34
- Be currently unemployed
- Not be a full-time student
- Not be participating in another internship, learnership, or apprenticeship
