• Learn to set up and operate decoiling machines to cut and straighten steel coils 

according to specifications.

• Assist in loading and unloading steel coils onto decoiling equipment safely and 

efficiently.

• Support in monitoring machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Assist in conducting quality checks on decoiled steel to meet production standards.

• Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and 

handling materials.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related 

field.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.

• Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance is advantageous.

• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

- Must be BEE Aligned

- Be between the ages of 18–34

- Be currently unemployed

- Not be a full-time student

- Not be participating in another internship, learnership, or apprenticeship
