The Maintenance Administrator Intern will provide administrative support to the Maintenance Department by assisting with maintenance documentation, work order administration, reporting, inventory tracking, and coordination of maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. Key duties include maintaining maintenance records, tracking preventative maintenance schedules, updating work orders, generating reports, supporting spare parts administration, scheduling meetings, and assisting with departmental administrative tasks and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- Must be between the ages of 18 - 35
- Don't do ETI
- Must be B-BBEE-aligned
- Must not be a full-time student
- Must not have participated in the YES programme for more than 8 months
- Must reside in Port Elizabeth
Advantageous
- Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Mechanical Engineering)
- Exposure to Manufacturing Operations
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Good communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- SAP, Power BI, maintenance systems exposure, driver’s licence, and own transport will be advantageous.
