Welding Lab Assistant

Job Description

• Weld Penetration – Aid in collecting first off samples and auditing weld quality of production first offs.

• Weld Penetration – Assist in the preparation of all welding samples for analysis.

• Weld Penetration – Provide admin support in compile analysis

• Weld Penetration – Provide admin support in compile quality reports

• Assist in Mat-gap study

• Aid in documenting control and archiving as per quality system.

• Assist in maintaining Housekeeping and Safety standards.

Candidate Description

• Welding Certificate

• Computer Literate

• Welding Inspection Background advantageous

• Technical Background advantageous

Must be between the ages of 18-35.

Must be unemployed.

Must not be a full time student.

Must not be part of any learnerships/apprenticeships or, internships.

Must not have previously participated in the YES Program for more than 8 months.
