1. Office Administration & Communication:

Maintain and update HR notice boards and internal newsletters (e.g., Tenneco Talk).

Draft employee communications, letters, and notices.

Capture and process HR data as required.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding:

Compile job advertisements, screen CVs, and arrange interviews.

Conduct interviews for shortlisted candidates.

Coordinate pre-employment assessments and facilitate onboarding.

Assist in contract preparation and collection of employee documentation.

3. Learning & Development:

Coordinate training programs (ABET, Leadership, Supervisory Development, YES Programme).

Monitor learners, mentors, and assessors.

Manage study assistance and bursary programs, including applications, institution liaison, payment processing, and reporting.

Support BBBEE initiatives through learnerships and apprenticeships.

4. Industrial Relations (IR) & Compliance:

Assist in preparing charge sheets, evidence packs, and disciplinary documentation.

Capture warnings and maintain IR records.

Support union engagement and monitor compliance with collective agreements.

5. Employee Wellness & Engagement:

Coordinate wellness programs, HR events, and engagement activities.

Support surveys and initiatives to improve employee experience.

Lead charity and community outreach projects (e.g., Mandela Day, AIDS Awareness).

6. HR Systems & Reporting:

Capture attendance, absenteeism, and leave records.

Maintain HR databases and assist in EE and Skills Development reporting.

Generate monthly reports on HR metrics, training spend, and bursary budgets.

7. Financial & Procurement Support:

Assist in compiling and managing the HR and training budget.


NDip OR BTech in Human Resources Management

Ms Office Proficient 

Design and content creation skills using Canva or similar platforms.

Familiarity with social media marketing, branding, or internal communications is advantageous.

Interest or experience in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva AI,Grok, automated reporting) is highly desirable.

Must be between the ages of 18-35.
Must be unemployed.
Must not be a full time student.
Must not be part of any learnerships/apprenticeships or, internships.
Must not have previously participated in the YES Program for more than 8 months.
