Kaizen and Continual Improvement

Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction across various departments.

Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to analyze workflows and suggest improvements.

Support in conducting time studies, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.

Assist in organizing and participating in continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events.

Help collect and analyze data to track performance metrics and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.

Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures while working on the production floor.


Must have a degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Must be BBBEE aligned

Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 years old

Must be currently unemployed

Must not be a full-time student

Must not be participating in another internship, learnership, or apprenticeship

Must not have previously benefited from the YES Programme for more than 8 months

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge or interest in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross- functional teams.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.
