Forklift /Reach Truck and Tow Motor Driver

Job Description

• Safely operate forklift equipment to transport materials within the warehouse and production areas.

• Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.

• Move materials to and from storage areas.

• Ensure proper storage of materials.

• Follow all safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation.

• Inspect forklift equipment daily for any defects.

• Report any safety hazards to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Perform basic maintenance on forklift equipment, such as refueling and cleaning.

• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

• Drive TVM initiatives

• Drive housekeeping and 5S

Candidate Description

Must have a valid forklift operator license

Technical background advantageous

Must be BBE Aligned

Must be between 18-29

Must be currently unemployed

Must not be a full-time student

Must not be a part of an internship, learnership or apprenticeship

Must not have previously benefitted from the YES Programme for longer than 8 months
