Maintenance Storeroom Assistant

Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing maintenance materials, tools, and equipment.
Learn to maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels to ensure availability.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the maintenance storeroom in a neat and orderly manner.
Support procurement activities by preparing purchase requisitions and liaising with suppliers.
Assist in conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures while handling materials and equipment.
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Interest in learning about maintenance operations and inventory management
Must be BBE Aligned
Must be between 18-29
Must be currently unemployed
Must not be a full-time student
Must not be a part of an internship, learnership or
apprenticeship
Must not have previously benefitted from the YES Programme for
longer than 8 months
