• Comply with the operation instructions at each workstation.
• Checks part’s manufactured to ensure that they comply with the standards reflected in the companies operating standards, visual aid’s associated to the station.
• Passes the complete sub assembly to the next station.
• Follow the instructions on the I.P.C.’s (this is what and when to do what)
• Maintain clean work station
• Check that correct parts are at the station.
• Manufacture first part and sign it as per the instructions laid out in IPC’s.
• Record results of IPC or SPC charts as indicated.
• Identify defect or suspected defect parts and report/ inform team leader
• Ensure that the amount of good quality part’s manufactured meet the hourly target.
• Reflect the hourly total on the I.P.C.
• Inform the team leader of any problems that prevent hourly total to be made. Support the team leader in improving the output on the status.
• Ensure that amount of parts are available on station. Inform the team leader of potential stock outs.
• Ensure the correct part has been delivered to the production line. Refer to the product part number.

At end of shift complete I.P.C.’s and hand to team leader.
Must have Matric.
Must be BEE Aligned
Must be between 18-29
Must be currently unemployed.
Must not be a full-time student
Must not be a part of an internship, learnership or
apprenticeship
Must not have previously benefitted from the YES Programme
for longer than 8 months
